Mr. Arvind Kumar Gupta
Our Chamber is headed by Mr. Arvind Kumar Gupta, who has been handling Corporate Litigation and Advisory work for more than 25 years. He has been briefed by not only leading National and International Companies from the Business world but also numerous National and Multi-National Law Firms and Law Firms for their legal matters.
He has done his Graduation in B. Com. (Hons.) from Hindu College, Delhi University and secured the First Position in his Batch. He has completed his Law from Campus Law Centre, North Campus, University of Delhi. He is enrolled in Delhi Bar Council in the Batch of 1995.
He worked with Karanjawala& Co., a Prominent Corporate Litigation & Advisory Law Firm, from 1995 to 2000. Thereafter, he has been practicing independently with Corporate Litigation & Insolvency Laws as Core Focus Area and is presently leading a multi-disciplinary team of Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, who have been handling matters in Corporate Litigation, Advisory, Conveyancing and Taxation issues.
He is presently the Vice President of NCLT & NCLAT Bar Association.
He worked extensively in erstwhile SICA Regime and is now dealing with Insolvency Related matters under Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code since its inception.
He has been advising and assisting numerous Indian Companies on issues arising out of Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 such as Ansal Group, SEL Manufacturing Company Ltd., Uttam Galva Steels Ltd. & Group Companies, Liberty Group House Pte. Ltd., Metenere Ltd., Sharp Corp Group, NCML Group, Arfat Petrochemicals Pvt. Ltd., Spentex Group (now known as CLC Industries Ltd.), just to name a few.
He has also handled Corporate and Commercial Dispute Litigation including Shareholders’ disputes.
He has argued matters in Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, various NCLTs, NCLAT, Bombay High Court, Allahabad High Court, Chandigarh High Court, Ahmedabad High Court, District Courts, DRT, DRAT, NCDRC, National Green Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal for EPF, CIC (RTI) etc. He also argued various matters before the Erstwhile Company Law Board, BIFR and AAIFR.
He has also been briefed by leading Law Firms and Business Houses for not only arguing their matters but also for providing Legal Opinions on complex issues.
Mrs. Purti Gupta
Mrs. Purti Gupta is an Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India and has been handling Corporate Litigation as a leading Arguing Counsel with a practice of 20 years. Her core areas of practice include matters pertaining to Insolvency Laws, Civil Litigation, Arbitration, Management & Shareholders’ Disputes, Restructuring of Companies, Corporate Disputes, Mergers & Amalgamations under Company Law, etc.
She has appeared and personally argued matters as a Lead Counsel against Leading Counsels and Senior Advocates before various Courts including Supreme Court of India, NCLTs, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, Delhi High Court, Bombay High Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Allahabad High Court, Rajasthan High Court, Madhya Pradesh High Court, Calcutta High Court etc. She also used to appear extensively before the Erstwhile AAIFR, BIFR and CLB. She has extensively argued matters under SARFAESI Act, both on behalf of Lenders and Borrowers.
She has also been the Arguing Counsel for Government of Punjab in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India for their important matters.
She is also engaged in International and Domestic Arbitrations and related litigation before various Courts. She has also been engaged in Writs and Special Leave Petitions related to Bidding, Assignment of Debts, Financial, Legal & Environmental Issues, Land Acquisitionmatters, Electricity related matters, Telecom Disputes matters as well as Service matters.
She has successfully represented Leading Banks, MNCs, Domestic Companies, Private Equity Investment Companies, Hedge Funds and has also been routinely briefed by various other Law Firms from all over India to argue in their matters.
She has also given legal opinions to various leading Consultancy Firms like Ernst and Young, BMC, PWC, etc. She has been a Member of Rules Making Committee of the Companies Act, 2013 and has been involved in the preparation of the Manual for Official Liquidators.
She has written numerous articles which have been published in National as well as International Magazines, Newspapers and Books on legal as well as para-legal issues. She has also delivered lectures at some reputed conferences.
She has also been a Lecturer for various Training Sessions for the Officers of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Ms. Henna George
Ms. Henna George is a Post Graduate from Delhi University and Masters in Law. She is an Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India and has been handling various Corporate Litigation matters.
She has appeared before Courts and Tribunals in matters related to Sick Industrial Companies, Guarantors, Insolvent Entities as well as in the matters pertaining to Shareholders’ Disputes.
She has also been engaged in various matters related to Insolvency Laws for almost a decade and also engaged in Arbitrations, Writs and Civil Litigation.
She has filed important Public Interest Litigations for functioning of the erstwhile Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction and Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstructionseeking their functioning prior to repeal of Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985.
She has also been engaged in assisting Clients in complex Commercial Civil Litigation from Trial Court upto the Supreme Court.
